Introduction

The Weapon | Hyper Beast is a skin that needs no introduction. Featuring a psychedelic beast hand-painted on the gun, it's one of the most recognizable skins in CS2. But is it worth your hard-earned money? Let's break it down.

Where Does It Come From?

The Hyper Beast skin for the Five-SeveN comes from the Operation Hydra Weapon Case and is part of the Operation Hydra Collection. It was released during Operation Hydra in 2017 and has since become a staple in many players' loadouts.

Skin Characteristics

• Weapon/Class: Five-SeveN
• Finish: Hyper Beast
• Rarity: Covert (Red)
• Collection: Operation Hydra Collection
• Style: Custom Hand-Painted
• Wear Range: 0.0 to 1.0

The gun features a custom-painted psychedelic beast, with the tagline "We are all monsters".

Inspection: What to Look For

When inspecting the Hyper Beast, pay attention to the pattern placement and how wear affects the artwork. The beast's face is centered on the slide, and the colors remain vibrant even at higher wear levels. However, heavy wear can cause significant scratching, especially on the barrel and grip.

Wear Conditions

• Factory New (FN): 0.00 - 0.07
• Minimal Wear (MW): 0.07 - 0.15
• Field-Tested (FT): 0.15 - 0.38
• Well-Worn (WW): 0.38 - 0.45
• Battle-Scarred (BS): 0.45 - 1.00

Is It Worth Buying?

Verdict: If you're a fan of the Five-SeveN and want a skin that stands out, the Hyper Beast is a solid choice. It's not the cheapest skin, but its iconic design and high rarity make it a desirable item. For budget-conscious players, Field-Tested is a good compromise, as the artwork remains largely intact.

Price Range: Prices vary by wear and StatTrak™ status. Expect to pay a premium for Factory New or StatTrak™ versions. Check C5GAME for current listings.

Expert's Corner

"The Hyper Beast is one of those skins that looks great in screenshots but can be a bit busy in-game. The Five-SeveN is a niche weapon, so the skin's value is largely driven by collectors. If you're looking to invest, go for low-float Factory New or StatTrak™ versions. Otherwise, a Field-Tested one will do just fine."

Final Thoughts: The Hyper Beast is a classic skin that adds a touch of psychedelic flair to your loadout. Whether you're a collector or just want a cool skin, it's worth considering. Just be mindful of the wear and pattern placement.

Remember: Always inspect before you buy, and happy trading!
