Inspection & Wear

When you inspect the G3SG1 Black Sand in-game, focus on the camo pattern's continuity from stock to handguard and scope base. At low float (0.0–0.1), the brown and black blocks are crisp and fully intact. As wear increases toward 0.8, scratches and fading appear on edges and high-friction areas, breaking up the camo. The pattern itself is hand-painted, so each wear level has a unique look.

Is It Worth Buying?

If you're a fan of military-themed skins that don't scream for attention, the Black Sand is a solid pick. It's a rare drop from the Operation Shattered Web Weapon Case and Collection, which means supply is decent and prices are friendly. For a G3SG1 skin, it's one of the better budget options that still looks sharp.

Verdict: Buy if you want a clean, tactical camo for your G3SG1 without spending a fortune. Skip if you prefer flashy, high-contrast skins.

Expert's Corner

The Black Sand is part of MGBazz's Black Sand series, and it shows—the hand-drawn style gives it a gritty, realistic feel. The weapon's flavor text adds a nice narrative touch: "Joint Task Force is about to win, Mikah has to take an aggressive strategy." It's a small detail, but it makes the skin more interesting for collectors.

When comparing prices on C5GAME or Steam Market, always check the inspect screenshot for the specific float you're buying. The pattern can vary slightly, especially around the handguard and barrel. For a rare skin from 2019, it's held up well and won't fatigue your eyes over time.
