First Look at the Galil AR Control Strike

The Galil AR Control Strike is a Mythical-grade, Gunsmith-finished skin from the Fever Collection. Its internal name is galil_control_strike, and it sports a racing livery in grey, yellow, and red. The official description even includes a performance-car ad tagline: “Now with all-wheel drive.” That little touch makes it a fun conversation piece between rounds.

It dropped on March 31, 2025, alongside the Spring Forward update (Spring 2025 Skins) and the Fever Weapon Case. Workshop author FROG designed it, so if you’re chasing new cases or browsing the Fever line, this date marks its arrival.

Skin Features

• Rarity: Mythical
• Collection: Fever Collection
• Finish: Gunsmith
• Wear Range: 0.0 – 0.798995

That wear range gives you plenty of choice. Some prefer low float for cleaner racing color blocks; others like how high wear adds battle scars and reveals the base material. Gunsmith finishes emphasize color boundaries and metallic layering, so always inspect in-game rather than relying on the float number alone.

The grey, yellow, and red racing palette is the core identity here. The “all-wheel drive” tagline acts like a performance statement slapped on the gun—great for showing off or just having a laugh.

What to Look For

When inspecting, check how the pattern sits from different angles and whether the color bands and base material change as wear increases. On C5GAME or the Steam Market, compare a few inspect links within the same wear bracket—Gunsmith skins often have individual differences that matter more than the float value. If you already follow the Fever case line, Control Strike is both a Mythical target from unboxing and a standout racing-themed Gunsmith skin in the Fever Collection.

Verdict

Buy if: You want a Mythical Gunsmith skin with a bold racing look and don’t mind the Galil’s niche status. Skip if: You prefer meta rifles or need a factory-new finish. For the price, it’s a solid pickup for Fever collectors and racing fans.

Expert Ramblings

Honestly, the “all-wheel drive” joke gets me every time. But beyond the meme, the Control Strike is a well-executed Gunsmith skin—the color separation is crisp at low wear, and even high floats have a certain gritty charm. Just don’t expect it to carry your eco rounds. The Galil is a force-buy king, and this skin makes those desperate buys a little more stylish. Check C5GAME for listings; sometimes you’ll find a gem with a perfect pattern placement.
