First Impressions

The M4A1-S | Griffin is one of those skins that quietly does its job. No flashy holograms, no animated textures—just a clean, hand-painted griffin ready to ride into battle. It comes from the Operation Vanguard Weapon Case, which means it's been around since 2014. That's a decade of history, and it still holds up.

Wear and Tear

The Griffin has a wear range of 0.0 to 0.8, so you'll find it in everything from Factory New to Battle-Scarred. But here's the thing: the artwork is on the receiver and stock, so heavy wear really eats into the details. Field-Tested is the sweet spot for most buyers—you still get the full griffin, but at a fraction of the price. Minimal Wear is for collectors who want it looking sharp without paying Factory New premiums.

Price Check

On C5GAME, the Griffin is one of the more affordable M4A1-S skins. Factory New copies are rare and command a premium, but Field-Tested and Well-Worn are plentiful. If you're on a budget, go for Well-Worn—the griffin is still visible, and you save a ton. Just avoid Battle-Scarred unless you're going for that post-apocalyptic look.

Is It Worth It?

Absolutely, if you want a classic skin that doesn't scream for attention. The Griffin is understated, elegant, and pairs well with any sticker combo. It's not going to turn heads in a major, but it's a solid choice for everyday play. Plus, it's from Operation Vanguard, which gives it a bit of old-school cred.

Expert Ramblings

I've owned this skin in Field-Tested for years. The griffin's eye is the first thing to fade, so check that in inspect. Also, the pattern placement is fixed—no random seeds here—so you know exactly what you're getting. If you find a clean-looking FT with a low float, snag it. It's a keeper.
