Introduction

Ever wanted a MAC-10 that looks like it was tagged by a guerrilla gardener? The Palm skin is exactly that: a spray-painted stencil of palm fronds, cardboard cutouts, and fine mesh. It's not flashy, but it's got a certain raw, street-art vibe that some players swear by.

Where Does It Come From?

This skin is a Dust II souvenir exclusive. It drops from souvenir packages tied to major tournaments held on Dust II, including:

  • ESL One Cologne 2014
  • DreamHack 2014
  • ESL One Katowice 2015
  • ESL One Cologne 2015
  • DreamHack Cluj-Napoca 2015
  • MLG Columbus 2016
  • Cologne 2016
  • Atlanta 2017
  • London 2018
  • Katowice 2019
  • Berlin 2019

It's also part of the Dust II Collection, so you can get it via trade-up contracts or the Steam Market, but souvenir versions come with tournament stickers and a special name tag.

Wear & Pattern Guide

Because the wear range is wide, you'll see everything from clean to heavily scratched. The palm stencil is applied via spray-paint, so the pattern doesn't shift with float—it's always in the same spot. However, wear affects how much of the stencil remains visible. On high float (Field-Tested and worse), the palm leaves and mesh lines get scuffed, which can either add character or ruin the look, depending on your taste.

Factory New (0.06–0.07) is rare and commands a premium. Minimal Wear is a sweet spot for many, offering a mostly clean look without the FN price tag. Field-Tested is the most common and affordable, but inspect carefully—some FT copies look almost MW, others are beat up.

Is It Worth Buying?

If you're a Dust II fan or a souvenir collector, absolutely. The MAC-10 Palm is a piece of CS:GO history, especially the older tournament versions. For a general player, it's a cheap, distinctive skin that won't break the bank. However, if you want something flashy, this isn't it—it's subtle and gritty.

Buy if: You want a budget MAC-10 with character, or you're collecting Dust II souvenirs.
Skip if: You prefer bright, animated skins or need a high-tier investment.

Expert's Corner

"The Palm is one of those skins that looks terrible in screenshots but surprisingly good in-game. The stencil detail is lost on low settings, but on high shaders, you can see the mesh and cardboard cuts. Souvenir versions with gold stickers from Katowice 2014 or 2015 can be worth a lot, but check the sticker placement—some are scraped or poorly positioned. Also, don't sleep on the wear: a 0.15 float can look nearly FN if the pattern is clean. Always inspect on C5GAME before buying."
