UMP-45 Houndstooth: The Budget Brown Beauty?

So you're eyeing the UMP-45 Houndstooth. It's from the Havoc Collection, and it's got that brown electroplated map pattern that looks hand-drawn. But is it worth picking up? Let's break it down.

What's the deal?

The Houndstooth is an uncommon skin from the Havoc Collection. It features a brown map-like pattern applied via hydrographic transfer. Wear ranges from 0.0 to 0.6, so you can find everything from Factory New to Battle-Scarred.

Inspection: What to look for

When you inspect this skin in-game, pay attention to how the pattern sits on the gun. The brown map design wraps around the body, and depending on the wear, you'll see scratches and fading. The pattern is fairly consistent, but the wear can make or break the look.

Wear and tear

With a wear range of 0.0 to 0.6, you've got options. Factory New looks crisp, but Minimal Wear and Field-Tested are where the value lies. Battle-Scarred can look pretty rough, so inspect before you buy.

Is it worth buying?

If you're a fan of military-style or subtle skins, the Houndstooth is a solid choice. It's not flashy, but it has a certain charm. Plus, it's from the Havoc Collection, which adds a bit of prestige. However, if you want something that stands out, you might want to look elsewhere.

Verdict: A decent budget skin for UMP-45 enthusiasts. Grab a Field-Tested one for the best bang for your buck.

Expert's corner

"The Houndstooth is one of those skins that grows on you. It's not going to turn heads in a match, but it's a reliable, no-nonsense choice. Just make sure you check the pattern placement—some spots look better than others."

Remember, you can find this skin on C5GAME or the Steam Market. Happy hunting!
