Weapon | Run Run Run (file name xm1014_freight) is the rare, gunsmith-grade skin in the 2025 Train Station set. It reads like a real freight car that has slammed platforms and switches for years—not a glossy tourist livery. The flavor line End of the line! lands like a station announcement; on Train maps it feels deliberately on-theme.

Verdict: Buy if you want a cheap, story-complete mil-spec with strong wear range. Skip if you only chase purple/pink hype—this is mood, not status.

What you are paying for

• Tier: Mil-Spec (Rare), gunsmith finish
• Wear cap: 0.0–0.746575 (Battle-Scarred has room to look “stripped from a car”)
• Drop path: 2025 Austin and Budapest Major souvenir packages (Inferno, Mirage, Anubis, Dust II, Ancient, Nuke, Train among others), plus the 2025 Train Station collection line
• Live date: March 31, 2025 (Spring 2025 drop)—handy anchor if you track fresh supply or souvenir burn after Majors
• Artist: Community designer 11it—rust bands, scrapes, and panel blocks come from metal/paint layers, not a sticker stack

Inspect before you cart

Gunsmith skins lie about themselves under bad light. In-game:

• Lower float: Check whether the car “panels” stay readable—clean dividers sell the freight look.
• Higher float: Watch for rust that reads as one continuous sheet vs. patchy, believable corrosion.
• Lighting: Shadowed angles show the industrial palette better than flat bright lobbies.

Pair it with other Train collection pieces for a set photo; as a daily XM1014, it is one of the more coherent mil-spec narratives in the case pool.

Where to buy smart

Souvenir supply spans two Major map pools, so pack pricing diverges. On C5GAME, compare wear screenshots side by side before you commit. Steam is fine for one-off fills; if you are opening or bulk-buying souvenirs, model total cost per desired wear band—not a single “best” pack myth.

Post-Major consumption and listing inventory usually move price more than launch-day hype. If you missed the spring window, patience often beats panic buys.

Editor muttering

I do not main XM1014, but I keep one beat-up copy because the BS ceiling actually means something here—fresh looks like a repainted yard unit; trashed looks like you pried siding off a retired boxcar. That is rare at mil-spec. Just do not expect it to carry a round; expect it to carry a screenshot.
