If you’re shopping the weapon | Lionfish for the Negev, you’re not buying a fixed graphic—you’re buying a lottery on where the fish lands. It dropped February 14, 2018 with the Welcome to the Clutch update, sits in the Clutch Collection at Mythical rarity, and only comes from the Clutch Weapon Case. Community artist PTP leaned into a simple idea: spray-painted random lionfish across the body. The flavor line “swim swim” fits the underwater vibe without turning the gun into a joke skin.

What you’re actually paying for

Spray-Paint means pattern seed matters. Two “same” listings can look nothing alike: fish crowded on the left side, stretched along the handguard, or awkwardly near sights. Float runs 0.00–0.55, so you’ve got room for play guns and display pieces—low wear keeps the orange/teal read cleaner; higher wear softens edges and can make the fish feel washed out.

Before you commit on C5GAME or the Steam Market, spin it in inspect. Check side profile when you ADS, whether the stock reads busy on stream, and if the pattern fights your crosshair comfort. None of that is “meta”—it’s satisfaction per dollar.

Shop verdict

Worth picking up if you like Clutch set completion or want a Negev that’s conversation-starting without being ultra-rare tax.Skip impulse buys when the screenshot hides a bland seed or heavy wear on the panels you actually see in-game.Best workflow: shortlist 3–5 floats on C5GAME, inspect each, then price-compare the winner on Steam if you’re patient.

Editor’s aside

Mythical Clutch skins age well because people remember the case—not because every pattern is a grail. Lionfish is the rare “theme skin” that still rewards fussy buyers: the random layout is the whole game. I’d rather overpay slightly for a seed that frames the fish on the show side than save $2 and never want to equip it.
