Inspection Guide

When inspecting in-game, pay attention to the pattern placement and how wear affects the skull's visibility. The skull is centered on the slide, but wear can dull the colors, especially on higher floats.

Is It Worth Buying?

Pros:

• Unique and eye-catching design.
• Rare and nostalgic, tied to the Cache map (now removed from active duty).
• Available in a wide wear range, so you can find one that fits your budget.

Cons:

• Tec-9 is a niche weapon; not everyone uses it.
• High wear versions can look significantly degraded.
• Souvenir versions with stickers can be pricey.

Verdict: If you're a Tec-9 enthusiast or a collector of Cache-themed skins, the Nuclear Threat is a solid pickup. It's not for everyone, but its bold aesthetic and historical significance make it a worthy addition. For budget-conscious buyers, a Field-Tested or Well-Worn version offers good value. If you want a clean look, go for Factory New or Minimal Wear, but expect to pay more.

Expert's Corner

"The Nuclear Threat is a classic. It's been around since 2014 and still turns heads. The skull pattern is iconic, and the fact that it's from Cache packages adds to its allure. Just be careful with high floats — the skull can get pretty scratched up. I'd recommend checking the pattern index if you're picky about placement. Overall, a solid skin for Tec-9 fans."
