At a glance

Whirlwind on the CZ75 is a Rare finish from the Snakebite case and collection. It dropped into circulation with the 3 May 2021 End of Broken Fang update when the case went live. Workshop credit goes to VilderAsuras (cu_cz75_whirlwind); many traders still call the design Circaetus after the short-toed eagle motif.

The paint reads like a small nature scene: a hunting short-toed eagle has a snake in its grip—on-theme for Snakebite and one of the clearer story skins on this pistol.

Wear & what you see in inspect

Float is allowed from 0.00 to 0.90, so everything from near-mint to heavy battle-scarred is valid. Lower wear usually keeps the bird-and-snake silhouette cleaner; high wear adds scuffs and fade, which can muddy the focal art if you only glance at marketplace thumbs.

Shop habit: open in-game inspect several times, spin the model, and note how the artwork shifts with angle—not just the listing screenshot.

Value check

| Factor | Takeaway |
|--------|----------|
| Line / set | Strong if you’re filling Snakebite or want a CZ75 with obvious identity |
| Rarity | Rare—not ultra-spam common, not case-jackpot tier either |
| Wear spread | Wide band → sharper price steps; budget buyers often live in upper floats |
| Source | Snakebite Weapon Case unbox or secondary market |

Prices move with float cliffs and how crisp the eagle reads on your pattern roll. Compare a few floats on Steam Community Market or C5GAME before you commit.

Buying verdict

Worth a slot if you care about Snakebite completion or a readable narrative skin on CZ75 without chasing covert budgets. Skip or go cheap if you need a ultra-clean show piece and won’t pay for low float—otherwise prioritize inspect over thumbnail.

Expert mutterings

That flavor line—a special forces operator, just missing a catchy hook—fits the skin: dramatic scene, modest rarity, the kind of pistol you keep for swaps or a themed loadout rather than flex pricing.
