Multicolor electroplating is what sells knife | Marble Fade on the Bowie: black-and-silver metallic veins read as faux marble up close, then three candy-color layers wrap the blade so a full spin stacks cold metal grain against saturated bands. At thumbnail distance it looks like one stripe runs the whole knife; in inspect, the split between base and coating is the whole point.

Shipped 15 March 2017 with Take a trip to the Canals. Valve credit, built-in finish—not a workshop skin. Drops from Spectrum Case and Spectrum 2 Case.

Wear: 0.00–0.08 (Factory New through Minimal Wear only). No Battle-Scarred tier. A tight window: 0.00 vs ~0.06 often shows graying and whether the bands stay crisp.

Pattern: Marble layout and how much of each candy color you get are template-locked. Bowie’s large blade helps a “full color” read but punishes picky sides—rotate several listings before you commit.

Shop verdict

Worth buying if you will 360° inspect and compare same float tier on C5GAME or the Steam market so pattern premium does not masquerade as wear premium. Skip impulse buys off static icons; this skin is inspect-or-regret.

Editor’s aside

Large flat steel plus narrow float range means the market sorts fast: clean low float for flex, or hunt a template with the color weight you want—just do not pay legendary Spectrum-box money for a gray MW you never spun in-game.
