Weapon | Sunrise Skin Review

Today we're checking out the Weapon | Sunrise skin, a vibrant addition from the Rising Sun Collection. This skin features a metallic paint job with a striking sunrise motif. Let's dive into the details and see if it's worth picking up.

What's in the Box?

The Sunrise skin comes exclusively from the Rising Sun Collection. No need to gamble on cases—you can acquire it directly from the collection.

Skin Characteristics

• Weapon/Class: Weapon
• Finish: Sunrise
• Rarity: Rare
• Collection: Rising Sun Collection
• Technique: Multi-color plating
• Wear Range: 0.0 – 0.6 (Factory New to Battle-Scarred)

The skin uses a metallic paint to depict a sunrise, with the philosophical quote: "The sun rises for both the good and the bad."

Inspection and Wear

When inspecting in-game, pay attention to how the pattern falls on the weapon. The sunrise design may vary slightly in placement, and the wear can affect its brightness. At 0.0 (Factory New), the colors are vivid and the metallic sheen is prominent. As wear increases, you'll notice scratching and fading, especially around the edges. At 0.6 (Battle-Scarred), the skin looks heavily worn, but the sunrise remains visible.

Is It Worth Buying?

Our Verdict: If you're a fan of vibrant, artistic skins with a metallic finish, the Sunrise is a solid choice. Its rarity (Rare) means it's not extremely common, but it's also not the rarest. The wear range is wide, so you can find versions for various budgets. We recommend aiming for a Factory New or Minimal Wear copy to fully appreciate the metallic plating. However, if you're on a tight budget, a Field-Tested version still looks decent.

Expert's Ramblings: The Rising Sun Collection has some hidden gems, and the Sunrise is one of them. The multi-color plating gives it a unique look that stands out in-game. Keep an eye on the pattern placement—some may have the sun more centered, which is more desirable. Also, remember that the quote adds a nice philosophical touch. Overall, a worthy pickup if you like the design.
