Introduction

First Look: The Blueberry MAC-10

So Valve dropped a new MAC-10 in the Spring Forward update, and it's called Storm Camo. It's a common-tier skin from the Ascent collection, and it's literally just a blue camo pattern. No crazy artwork, no gradients — just blue blocks. The flavor text says "Who hasn't done something against their will?" which is a mood, honestly.

Release & Specs

  • Released: March 31, 2025 (Spring Forward update)

Wear & Look

With a max float of 0.637288, this thing can get pretty beat up. But since it's just blue camo, high wear mostly makes it look faded and grey rather than completely destroyed. Factory New looks crisp and clean — the blue pops more. Battle-Scarred? It's a bit washed out, but the camo pattern is still readable. Honestly, for a common skin, it holds up better than you'd expect.

Is It Worth Buying?

Verdict: Only if you're building an Ascent collection or want a cheap blue-themed loadout.

This isn't a skin you buy to flex. It's a filler piece. But if you're a MAC-10 main on a budget, or you just like the simple tactical look, it's fine. The price is basically nothing, so there's no real risk. Just don't expect it to turn heads.

Expert's Take

"Storm Camo is the definition of 'it's there.' It's not ugly, but it's not exciting either. The float range is interesting though — 0.637288 is high enough that you can get some really worn-out versions that almost look like a different skin. If you're into that distressed look, grab a high-float one. Otherwise, just get a Factory New for a few cents and call it a day."

Where to buy: Check C5GAME or Steam Market for listings. Use the Ascent collection filter to avoid buying the wrong skin. Always inspect in 3D before pulling the trigger — especially at high floats.
