Inspection: Wear and Pattern

The Virus Crisis has a wear range from 0.06 to 0.8, meaning it can be obtained in Factory New all the way to Battle-Scarred. However, due to its high float cap, even Factory New copies may show some slight wear. The zombie pattern is applied via hydrographic, so pattern placement can vary. When inspecting, pay attention to how the green base and zombie motifs align on the weapon's body.

Is It Worth Buying?

Given its rarity (Mythical) and association with the eSports 2014 Summer Case, the Virus Crisis holds decent value, especially in lower wear conditions. However, because it's not a popular mainstream skin, prices can be volatile. If you're a fan of zombie themes or retro skins, it's a solid pickup. For investors, low-float or special pattern variants might be worth watching.

Expert's Corner

"The Virus Crisis is one of those skins that flies under the radar. It's not flashy, but the zombie pattern gives it a unique charm. I'd recommend checking the pattern index if you're picky about placement—some patterns have the zombie face more centered, which looks better in-game. Also, don't overpay for high floats; save up for a Minimal Wear or Factory New if you can."
