Introduction
If you’re browsing Mirage-themed skins and want something that reads from across the map without busy decals, this MAG-7 is built around one idea: solid color, industrial yellow. Valve painted selected parts in a production-line palette so the gun looks like it rolled off a factory floor—not like a sticker bomb.
Quick specs: Mirage Collection · Mythical · Solid color finish · Wear 0.06–0.8 (Factory New through high float). Dropped with the Mirage set on 27 Nov 2013 in the Out with the old, in with the new update. Official Valve art, not a Workshop submission.
Where it drops
Standard Mirage Collection cases, plus Mirage Souvenir packages from Majors—including Cologne & DreamHack 2014, Katowice/Cologne/Cluj 2015, MLG Columbus & Cologne 2016, Atlanta & Kraków 2017, Boston & London 2018, Katowice 2019, Berlin 2019, and similar Mirage souvenir lines. Shop check: inspect & wear
Solid finishes lie about themselves under different lighting. The same float can look crisp in one map and muddy in another. Before purchase:
- Always in-game inspect (or a trusted viewer)—screenshots age badly on solids.
- Low float (≈0.06–0.12): cleaner edges between yellow blocks and metal; best if you want that “fresh line” read.
- Mid float: yellow stays loud; scratches show on short, chunky surfaces.
- High float (toward 0.8): edges and paint break up more—some like the beat-up factory look; others don’t.
The MAG-7’s stubby silhouette carries the yellow well in industrial / warning loadouts (Mirage golds, hazmat vibes). For ranked play it’s taste: high-saturation yellow, zero pattern lottery—either you love it or you pass.
导购结论
Collectors: Strong early-Mirage solid-color representative; souvenir variants add Major history if you chase capsules. Players: Buy only if you’ve inspected and like the yellow in your graphics settings—no pattern seed to save a bad float. Budget tip: Non-souvenir copies are usually the sane entry; souvenir premiums are for badge/flair collectors.
专家碎碎念
Solids punish lazy shopping. I’ve seen “0.10 FN” listings that looked FN in the thumbnail and BS in Mirage sunlight. Rule of thumb: if the seller can’t show inspect, assume the worst. Mirage MAG-7 isn’t meta, so you’re not paying for performance—you’re paying for a very honest slab of yellow. That’s either charming or boring; the market price usually reflects the split.
