Season 5 brought Arabesque, Tech, Fruits & Racing, and with the Covert collection came Gunsmith Smart on the Nova—community vision from SerQ, mythical tier, Gunsmith finish, and wear from factory fresh to battle-scarred on one skin line.

Release

July 8, 2026—same beat as the season theme drop. Good anchor if you’re timeline-sorting Covert pieces or filling out Tech-themed loadouts from that patch.

Designer & vibe

SerQ’s angle isn’t wallpaper chaos. The hook is one restrained symbol: “smart” reads through the metal receiver, not a full sci-fi poster slapped on the pump.

Official line: tech meets organic—cool silver base, mechanical edges, organic curves. The brain sits near the rear sight, drawn like it’s inside the gun, then sealed under silver Gunsmith paint.

Where it drops

Covert collection—case opens or set completion. After that, in-game drops, Steam Market, and C5GAME are the usual lanes; price by float and exterior like any Nova.

What to look at in inspect

1. Zoom the rear sight: brain silhouette vs. “embedded” depth— that’s the whole identity.
2. Pull back: how silver panels meet stock Nova geometry.
3. Gunsmith silver shifts with wear: low float = sharper mirror and cleaner brain edge; high wear = softer edges, base showing, symbol still readable but more “field used.”

In the Covert line, mythical sits in a sweet spot—not shouty, still instantly recognizable.

Buying verdict

Worth it if you’re building Covert or Season 5 Tech vibes and want a quiet Nova with one strong focal point—not a flex skin, a symbol skin that works at any wear tier.

Skip or wait if you only chase loud patterns or you already have a finished Nova slot; this one wins on inspect detail, not thumbnail pop.

On C5GAME or Steam, don’t trust the icon: match same wear band and compare rear-sight clarity and silver continuity side by side.

Editor’s notes

One-liner sell: tech and organic in one read. One-liner play: symbol finish + full wear range. Mythical Gunsmith on a budget shotgun isn’t everyday—when the brain line is crisp at your float, it punches above its noise level.
