Introduction
Motorcycle Gloves already read loud in first person: knuckles, finger guards, and the back of the hand are separate visual zones. Swap in Polygon and your whole round’s hand model shifts toward a low-key tactical look—geometry you notice in inspect first, then catch in firefights when the light hits the seams.
Release snapshot
Polygon landed 14 February 2018 with the Welcome to the Clutch update. It’s one of the older glove finishes people still name-check when they want deep blue without neon flex.
Who designed it
Valve in-house. Glove work here is about leather panels, stitching, and color blocking—not the wide graphic wraps you see on rifles. Polygon leans on that: varied deep-blue cuts that line up with the glove’s natural segments.

Official flavor: synthetic materials plus deep blue leather cut into different shapes. On dark maps the tone stays disciplined; under bright skyboxes or a high-exposure inspect, panel edges and material shifts pop more. The Motorcycle Gloves silhouette is already chunky—Polygon’s “mixed cuts” idea matches that, so close inspect is where you sell yourself on it (or talk yourself out).
Wear is the whole shopping story. At the low end, panels look cleaner and the patchwork reads intact. Push float up and wear concentrates on edges and the spots your hands actually see in-game—thumb, knuckles, wrist. Never buy off a thumbnail; spin it in in-game inspect and compare listings on C5GAME or Steam at the same float band.
Style-wise, Extraordinary tier means you’re paying glove money—pair it with navy rifles, muted knives, or simple agents if you want one coherent dark kit.
Shopping verdict
Buy if you want a practical deep-blue Motorcycle Gloves finish, you’re fine tuning float in the 0.06–0.80 window, and you’ll inspect before checkout. Pass if you need loud contrast or you hate visible seam wear—Polygon rewards patience and a picky float search more than impulse.
Editor’s aside
I treat Polygon like a uniform glove: it doesn’t scream in clutch POVs, but when someone inspects you after the round, the panel geometry is the flex. Save time by filtering C5GAME and Steam for the same wear tier, then only bother with in-game inspect on the last two or three candidates—Ancient gloves punish “close enough” floats.
