Loading Screen Clarity, TK Kicks, and Two Reload Fixes Worth Noting

Rule text on load is clearer, team-damage kick logic shifted, clipping got touch-ups, and silent-reload timing exploits for rifles and shotguns are patched—plus a cleaner AK inspect.

Match impact

Loading screen rules — You will see clearer wording about conduct before you spawn. It does not change how rounds play, but it sets expectations early; if you run pugs or mix stacks, fewer “I didn’t know that was a kick” arguments after a bad nade.

Team damage kicks — Valve adjusted when the game removes someone for hurting teammates. Edge cases around accidental wallbangs, late-round chaos, and repeated chip damage may land differently. Competitive and Premier players should treat every util throw as intentional until the new threshold feels familiar—one extra team hit can flip from warning to removal faster or slower than before, depending on the scenario.

Clipping — “Various” usually means fewer stuck guns, odd lean spots, or weird collision on common angles. No single map callout here; expect fewer micro-stutters when hugging geometry in clutch positions.

Silent reload fixes — Two separate bugs: (1) tapping reload before holding could shave a sliver off a silent reload on applicable weapons; (2) the same technique could push shotgun fire rate above normal. Both are gone. Feel: rifle and shotgun timing should match the rhythm you learned from demos and practice—no hidden tap pattern. Shotgun entries and force-buy fights lose any accidental advantage from the old input sequence.

AK-47 inspect — The pop on inspect is fixed. Purely visual; zero effect on spread, recoil, or swap timing.

Player memo

  • Do not rebuild muscle memory around pre-hold reload taps; treat reload as one clean input.
  • After a team hit, play one more round conservatively until you internalize the new kick curve.
  • No setting changes required—this is rules copy, moderation logic, collision polish, and exploit cleanup.
